ERROR
Cannot open AICODESET file
Error Message
Starting ArcPlot or ArcEdit generates the following error message:"Cannot open AICODESET file d:\arcgis\arcexe82\locale\c\codeset
Unable to initialize Intellifont.
Only IGL fonts are available."
Cause
Uninstalling ArcSDE for Coverages version 8.2 removes the CODESET file from the directory arcgis\arcexe82\locale\c.
Solution or Workaround
Access the zip archive in Related Information and extract the enclosed CODESET file to:
arcgis\arcexe82\locale\c
The Intellifonts supplied with ArcInfo will then be available to ArcPlot and ArcEdit.
