Cannot access the file <PropertiesFilePath>

Error Message

On the ArcGIS Enterprise machine, attempts to run the webgisdr utility to create a backup file for the deployment fail, and return the following error message in the Command Prompt window:

Error:   
Cannot access the file <PropertiesFilePath>.

Cause

• Quotation marks are not used when specifying a properties file path with spaces. Refer to Microsoft: Long filenames or paths with spaces require quotation marks for more information.
• The properties file is saved as a text file.

Use quotation marks when specifying the properties file path

In the Command Prompt window, use quotation marks when specifying the properties file path with spaces. For example, a properties file path located in Program Files is specified as:

“C:\Program Files\<PropertiesFileName>.properties”

Save the properties file with the correct file extension

On the ArcGIS Enterprise machine, save the properties file with a .properties extension before running the webgisdr utility in the Command Prompt window.
