Bad login user, Unable to start rqmgr

Error Message

Attempting to start the geoprocessing server produces this error:gpmon -o start -p xxxxxxx
Bad login user, Unable to start rqmgr

Cause

The user attempting to start the geoprocessing service is not the same user who installed ArcInfo.

Solution or Workaround

1. Switch to the user account that installed ArcInfo.
2. Restart the server.
