Error: ArcStorm Query: Unable Open Cross-Tile Index for Mapsection

Solution or Workaround

Attempting to query on an ArcStorm library returns the following error:

Unable to open Cross-tile index for mapsection
/path/alib/tile_16/flae
No feature located

Answer:

This error with 'Unable to open Cross-tile index for mapsection' is related to the OBJECT__ID date stamp.

If cross tile indexes are lost, the item must be manually re-indexed.

1. All feature classes of all layers should have this index. To determine if this index exists, run SCHEMAEDIT - ITEMS. For example:
