ArcGIS Pro: 003341 This operation is not supported on Esri Spatial Types

Error Message

The attempt to run the Check Geometry and Repair Geometry tools in ArcGIS Pro on a registered feature class fails and returns the following error:

ERROR 003341 This operation is not supported on Esri Spatial Types.

Cause

The data type used for the tools does not match the database connection. For example, if an ST_Geometry spatial type is used with an Oracle database connection without the required ST_Geometry library installed or properly configured, the tool does not function as expected.

Use a compatible database connection
