Error Message

When using the Project Wizard (coverages, grids), if the State Plane Coordinate System is selected, but no FIPS Zone is chosen, an error will occur after clicking 'Finish'.The error message is: An error occurred while running 'Project Wizard (coverages, grids)'. Unloading tool.

Cause

The Project Wizard (coverages, grids) does not force you to specify an output FIPS Zone when setting the coordinate system to State Plane. Leaving the FIPS Zone blank causes an error.

Solution or Workaround



Make sure the FIPS Zone parameter is specified when setting the coordinate system to State Plane. This parameter is found on the fourth panel.
