PROBLEM

Edits to a relationship class do not sync between disconnected replicas

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Description

When working with disconnected replicas that synchronize using a geodata service, records added or deleted from a relationship class do not sync to the relative replica.

Cause

The replica is created from a map service with geodata access using ArcMap, and the attributed relationship class does not exist inside a feature dataset within the geodatabase.

Solution or Workaround

To eliminate this problem, move the relationship class into a feature dataset prior to creating the replica.

  • This can be done in ArcCatalog by dragging and dropping the relationship class into the feature dataset.

    Note:
Make sure all running services or programs that would create a lock on the geodatabase are stopped or disconnected.
