Edit polygons with a common boundary

Procedure

1. In ArcMap, start an editing session.
2. On the Topology toolbar, select the 'Map Topology' button.
3. Check on the layer with the common boundary that needs to be edited, and click OK to activate the Topology Edit tool.
4. Select the Topology Edit tool.
5. Select the common boundary and begin editing.
