DEPRECATION
Applications, business systems or solutions using legacy API keys will no longer be able to authenticate with ArcGIS services and will lose access to those services, impacting the functionality of these solutions. API keys are the replacement for legacy API keys. Legacy API keys refer to any API keys created before June 27, 2024.
Legacy API keys are being deprecated because:
Any application or solution using a legacy API key after June 2026 will no longer be able to authenticate with ArcGIS services and will be unable to use those services. The service will respond with an error message stating the legacy API key is invalid. As a result, the application may still open and operate, but specific functionalities will not work as intended.
ArcGIS AppStudio users must configure their apps to use new API keys.
Customers are advised to follow the migration tutorial for legacy API keys to API key credentials.
