ArcGIS Workforce

Description

ArcGIS Workforce, both the mobile and web applications, will be officially retired in the ArcGIS Online Q4 2026 update and in the ArcGIS Enterprise 12.2 Q4 2026 release.

The functionality previously provided by ArcGIS Workforce is now available through the Tasks capability in ArcGIS Field Maps, which offers a more integrated and flexible experience for field operations.

Note: 
The previous version of ArcGIS Workforce, 'Workforce for ArcGIS', was retired on December 31, 2021.

Recommendation

Customers currently using ArcGIS Workforce or Workforce for ArcGIS must begin planning their transition to using the new Tasks capability in ArcGIS Field Maps to ensure continuity. Documentation to use tasks in Field Maps is available to guide the transition. The Tasks capability is available in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 and newer. 

Workforce will remain supported until the retirement date, but no new development or enhancements will be made. Customers on older versions of ArcGIS Enterprise must migrate to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 or leverage ArcGIS Online along with ArcGIS Enterprise to use Tasks in Field Maps version 25.2.
