ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Web Adaptor, and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server localized installation experience

Description

ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server 11.5 are the last releases to include a localized installation experience.  Language-specific resources are installed via language packs that are automatically installed by the ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Web Adaptor, and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server installation process.

The following ArcGIS Enterprise components and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server installations are impacted:

Recommendation

ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server 11.5 are the last releases to include a localized installation experience. Support for localized installation experiences will no longer be available in ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS GeoEvent Server 12.0.

ArcGIS Server

Starting at ArcGIS Server 12.0, the previous 10 language packs will be combined into two larger all-in-one language packs:

• ArcGIS Server 12.0 Help Language Pack Setup
• ArcGIS Server 12.0 Resource Language Pack Setup

ArcGIS Web Adaptor

Starting at ArcGIS Web Adaptor 12.0, there will only be an English installation experience that will install localized resources for all supported languages.

ArcGIS GeoEvent Server

Starting at ArcGIS GeoEvent Server 12.0, there will only be an English installation experience that will install localized resources for all supported languages.
