Recommendation
To ensure that customers are successful in using QuickCapture without significant interruptions to their projects and workflows, we recommend the following steps:
- Participate in preview/beta testing: As soon as the preview or beta releases are available for the next generation QuickCapture mobile app, it is important that customers test their existing projects and workflows. This will help them check compatibility and identify any gaps. Being proactive now will help customers plan for a seamless transition to the next-generation ArcGIS QuickCapture mobile app.
- Migrate to the new app promptly: Migrate to the next generation QuickCapture mobile app when it is released in 2026. Make sure to test projects and workflows to ensure they function as expected with the new app. If needed, consider adjusting to projects and workflows to enhance compatibility.
- Conduct thorough testing: When implementing an OS update, Esri recommends following best practices by upgrading one device initially and ensuring the software, including QuickCapture, functions correctly before proceeding with the OS upgrade on all devices.
