ArcGIS Production/Defense Mapping Workflow Manager (Classic) tools and files

Description

The final release of ArcGIS Production Mapping and ArcGIS Defense Mapping workflow tools and files was in November 2024, with the ArcGIS Pro 3.4 and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 releases.

The following components have been deprecated:

• Workflow geoprocessing toolset in ArcGIS Pro 3.4
• ArcGIS Pro Production Mapping Product Data 3.4

Recommendation

Customers currently using the workflow tools and files in ArcGIS Production Mapping and ArcGIS Defense Mapping November 2024 or earlier releases will need to develop a transition plan to move to the services-based ArcGIS Workflow Manager to use the predefined Workflow Manager workflows that will be provided with ArcGIS Production Mapping and ArcGIS Defense Mapping at the ArcGIS Enterprise release scheduled for Q4 2025. Otherwise, customers must stay on the ArcGIS Production Mapping and ArcGIS Defense Mapping November 2024 (ArcGIS Pro 3.4 and ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4) releases.

Esri strongly recommends customers using the workflow tools and files in ArcGIS Production Mapping and ArcGIS Defense Mapping in ArcMap also transition to services-based Workflow Manager due to ArcMap support ending in March 2026.
