Description

ArcGIS Insights, which is available with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, as well as the Insights desktop app (requiring Online or Enterprise) is being deprecated. ArcGIS Insights will be retired for ArcGIS Online in Q3 2025. The last version delivered with ArcGIS Enterprise will be version Q2 2025.

Based on extensive customer feedback, we have identified areas where our products can better serve your needs. By retiring this product, we can invest in improvements and new features within ArcGIS that will provide greater value and satisfaction to you.

Recommendation

Customers must assess their ArcGIS Insights workflows and datasets to determine the best migration plan based on their required functionality. Equivalent capabilities are offered through several ArcGIS products, such as ArcGIS AllSource, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Data Pipelines, ArcGIS for Power BI, ArcGIS Knowledge, ArcGIS for Microsoft 365, ArcGIS Notebooks, and ArcGIS Pro. This guide can assist customers in identifying the product that best meets their needs to complete their essential workflows.

  • Append (with Online hosted feature service as the target)  
  • Calculate Field (using SQL expression)  
  • Summary Statistics (using DBMS statistics)  
  • Truncate
