ArcGIS Explorer on Windows platform

Description

ArcGIS Explorer on the Windows platform will be retired on October 1, 2025. ArcGIS Explorer on Android and iOS was retired on December 31, 2021. Esri offers ArcGIS Field Maps as the successor to ArcGIS Collector. To learn more about ArcGIS Field Maps and how to migrate, refer to the ArcGIS Field Maps Migration Guide. Customers unable to migrate due to Amazon App Store availability can email arcgisfieldmaps@esri.com for information and assistance.

Recommendation

ArcGIS Explorer on the Windows platform will be retired and no longer supported by Esri as of October 1, 2025.

Customers must migrate to ArcGIS Field Maps on Android or iOS platforms.

Alternative ArcGIS applications are available on the Windows platform including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Survey123, ArcGIS QuickCapture, ArcGIS Earth, and ArcGIS Web Editor. There are also alternative customizable applications including but not limited to ArcGIS Experience Builder and ArcGIS Instant Apps. For additional Windows solutions, we have an extensive partner network, and custom Windows solutions can be developed using ArcGIS Maps SDK for .Net.
