ArcGIS Experience Builder Branch Version Management widget

Description

Customers who have built an app with ArcGIS Experience Builder using the Branch Version Management widget must note that this widget will retire with the ArcGIS Online October 2026 update and with the ArcGIS Enterprise 12.2 release.

Recommendation

The current Branch Version Management widget will still work until its retirement in Q4 2026. Starting with the latest releases, ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 and ArcGIS Experience Builder developer edition 1.21, customers can migrate to the new Branch Version Editing widget. All widgets must be removed from ArcGIS Online applications no later than October 2026.

Although the widget will not be available in ArcGIS Online, customers can still use this capability by migrating to Experience Builder developer edition (version 1.21 or later), which connects to existing branch-versioned datasets in ArcGIS Enterprise.
