FME Options fonts too small in FME Workbench

Cause

This is a known issue with text scaling in FME Workbench when using monitors with a resolution higher than 1080p. This issue mainly affects FME 2022 and older versions.

Solution or Workaround

An adjustment must be made to the font size to enlarge the text.

  1. In Windows File Explorer navigate to:
C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Data Interoperability for ArcGIS Pro
  1. Right-click fmeworkbench.exe and select Properties > Compatability tab. The following shows the Properties dialog.

  1. Click Change high DPI settings then enable High DPI scaling override and set it to use System Scaling, as shown in the next image.

If Data Interoperability fonts do not repond immediately, it may be necessary to close the Data Interop Workbench, save the ArcGIS Pro project, then close and reopen.
