Create World File option for Export is disabled in ArcMap

Description

When exporting a Map Document from ArcMap to a TIFF or BMP, the Create World File option is disabled.

Cause

This option is only available in the Data View and not in the Layout View.

Solution or Workaround

1. Select the View Menu > Data View option.
2. Select the File Menu > Export.
3. Specify TIFF or BMP for the Save As Type.
4. Click Options.
5. Check the Create World File option.
   
6. Click OK.
7. Specify an output name.
8. Click Export.
