Create a histogram from attribute values in ArcMap

Summary

You can use the Selection Statistics tool to create a histogram for a field within a selected group of features. You can also easily compare histograms between several fields with this tool.

Procedure

1. Select Features using any method.
2. Click Selection > Statistics.
3. Select a Layer and Field. The Selection Statistics dialog box will show the desired bar graph.
   
   

   Note:
   You cannot save, print, customize the properties, or create this histogram from stand-alone tables.
