Could not validate application directory when opening Business Analyst

Last Published: April 26, 2020

Error Message

Due to a known issue, users may be asked to run Business Analyst setup (setup.msi) from the installation DVD.

When opening Business Analyst after updating, users receive the following error message:

"Could not validate application directory: C:\ArcGIS\Bin\GxImageConnect.dll
Current ImageConnect loaded from C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Bin\GxImageConnect.dll"

Running setup.msi from the Business Analyst installation disk changes the location of the application directory from its default location.

Solution or Workaround
