Connecting with ArcCatalog: cannot see all layers
Solution or Workaround
Problem:Not all stand-alone feature types (layers) in a SDE 3.0.x instance can be seen with ArcInfo 8.0.1 ArcCatalog.
Possible Causes:
1. ArcCatalog will not display stand-alone feature types which contain multiple entity types. Check the entity types contained in a stand-alone feature type using "sdelayer -o stats".
2. There is a known issue in ArcInfo 8.0.1 where ArcCatalog stops looking for stand-alone feature types when it finds one it cannot understand. This problem has been fixed in ArcInfo 8.0.2.
