Change 'About' text in extensions dialog box

Summary

The 'About' section of the extensions dialog box describes the purpose of an extension. This article shows how to change that text.

Procedure

1. Open the <extension>.avx file in a text editor such as WordPad or NotePad. The file is located in the Av_gis30\Arcview\Ext32 folder.
2. Make the changes you want to the text in the 'About' line under the section titled Extension.1.
3. Save the file.
