Cannot use the 'Cut Polygons without Selection Task' sample or register CutPolygonsTask.dll

Description

Problems occur when using the 'Cut Polygons without Selection Task' sample. The following error may display when adding and/or registering the CutPolygonsTask.dll:

"No new objects added"

Note:
This sample is located in C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\DeveloperKit\samples\Editing after the ArcGIS Desktop Developer Kit has been installed.

Cause

The operating system is missing msjava.dll.

Solution or Workaround

Verify that the computer is up-to-date with Microsoft Windows Update.
