Can geometric network features participate in composite relationship classes with one another?
Answer
Yes, however, features that are connected to one another should not participate in a composite relationship with each other.By definition, network features have topological relationships with each other. If two network features connected to each other also participate in a composite relationship, editing those features is problematic. This is because moving a network feature communicates messages to its connected network features so they also move. If those features are messaged a second time through the composite relationship the edit operation fails. There are no operation failures during composite relationships between network features that are not connected with each other.
