Frequently asked question

Can complex junctions be used in a geometric network?

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Answer

Complex junctions are no longer supported with geometric networks due to several issues in terms of creating, deploying, and maintaining these types of custom features.

Instead of creating a complex junction feature class, it is recommended to model the objects in question as a series of regular complex edges, simple edges, and simple junctions combined with the use of Schematic datasets to represent the internals of complex objects.
