Description

** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) **Symbol fonts in a text element crash ArcMap on export to PDF.

Cause



This is a known issue.

The glyph selector and Unicode input fields do not work correctly with Symbol fonts.

** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
