Relationships are not maintained after split of network features using ArcGIS 10.2.1 Utilities and Telecom Update 1 Patch

Description

When splitting a simple or complex edge feature in a geometric network that has related records, the relationships are not maintained, i.e., dropped and not re-established, following the split operation.This occurs when using the Split tool, Split command or the IFeatureEdit.SplitWithUpdate method when the ArcGIS 10.2.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Utilities and Telecom Update 1 Patch is installed.

Cause

This is due to a NIM104364 - Relationships are not maintained after using the Split tool or IFeatureEdit.SplitWithUpdate with network features using ArcGIS 10.2.1 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Utilities and Telecom Update 1 Patch.
