Loading a non-XML file using ArcToolbox > Load Settings > From File causes a crash
Description
** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) **When performing the following, the application in use can crash, with or without an error message:1. In the ArcToolbox context menu, select Load Settings > From File.
2. Select 'All Files' in the browser that appears.
3. Select any non-XML file.
Cause
This is a known issue.
Workaround
** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
