Exporting a thematic file-based raster dataset may cause ArcMap to crash

Description

** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) **Exporting a thematic file-based raster dataset to an ERDAS Imagine file-based raster dataset, and then adding it back into ArcMap causes a crash due to poorly interpreted colormap information.
