BUG
ArcMap Buffer wizard produces incorrect results when using decimal degrees for an inside polygon buffer
Description
Specifying buffer units as decimal degrees, and buffer inside a polygon, will yield result incorrectly placed outside of the buffered polygon.
Cause
This is a known issue.
Workaround
Use a different buffer unit. On the second panel of the Buffer wizard, select a different map unit from the Distance unit dropdown list box.Article ID:000004451
