ArcGIS Pro add-in content in WindowsFormsHost is miscolored or invisible when rendered in a docked pane in Windows 11

Description

The WinForms control on a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) WindowsFormsHost container in a dock pane is miscolored or appears invisible when running ArcGIS Pro in light theme on Windows 11. 

Note:
The issue is not reproducible in dark theme.

Cause

This issue is a bug appearing in ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.0. The details for the BUG can be found in the following Technical Support documentation, BUG: In Windows 11, the content in a WindowsFormsHost is miscolored or invisible when rendered in a docked pane.

Workaround

The issue is currently planned to be fixed in ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.2. To solve the issue in ArcGIS Pro versions 3.4.0 & 3.4.1, use one of the following solutions:

• Run ArcGIS Pro in dark theme. Refer to ArcGIS Pro: Change the application theme for more information.
• Undock the item or use the auto-hide pin.
• Run ArcGIS Pro in a remote desktop environment.
