BUG

Antialiasing effect not seen with SIMPLEPOLYGONSYMBOL or SIMPLELINESYMBOL tag when width=1

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Description

When antialiasing is set to true with SIMPLEPOLYGONSYMBOL or SIMPLELINESYMBOL tags and boundarywidth in case of SIMPLEPOLYGONSYMBOl and width in case of SIMPLELINESYMBOL is set to 1, then the antialiasing effect is not seen.

Note:
When boundarywidth in case of SIMPLEPOLYGONSYMBOL and width
in case of SIMPLELINESYMBOL
is 2 or above, the antialiasing effect is
visible and works as expected.

Cause

When the boundary width/width =1, then antialiasing is not effective - the spatial server is not processing this correctly.

Workaround

There is no workaround for boundary width/width=1 in current releases. The alternative is to use boundary width/width =2 or above.
