Adding a field to a table, after the table has been joined to a layer, results in the layer not accessing the new field
Description
** This issue will be addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) ** If a field is added to a table after the table has been joined to a layer, the layer can not access the new field properly. Actions like setting visibility, field aliases or labelling for the new field do not work.
Cause
This is a known issue.
Workaround
** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
