Potential solutions:
- Lengthen the output subclass name being created by AREAQUERY.
- Increase the amount of memory allocated with the OVERLAYALLOCSIZE environment variable. More information on this variable can be found by searching on 'OVERLAYALLOCSIZE' in the Index tab of the ArcDoc online help system.
- As an alternative to using AREAQUERY, use UNION to combine the coverages containing region subclass and use REGIONQUERY.
- Uninstall and reinstall ArcGIS.
