Description
When accessing a layer's properties in ArcMap, the program crashes. This problem occurs when ArcMap version 9.2 and the Districting extension for ArcMap 9.1 are installed on the same computer.
Cause
The Districting for ArcGIS 9.1 extension is not compatable with ArcGIS 9.2, and therefore causes ArcMap to crash when accessing the properties of a data layer.
Solution or Workaround
Uninstall the Districting for ArcGIS extension. Then install the ArcGIS 9.2 version of the Districting extension.
- Open the Add/Remove Programs utility for Microsoft Windows from Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
- Select the Districting for ArcGIS program and click the 'Change/Remove' button.
- Select 'Automatic' for the uninstall method. Click Next. Click Finished.
- Go to the Districting for ArcGIS Web page to download and install the appropriate file for the version of ArcGIS Desktop being used.
