PROBLEM
ArcMap crashes when adding a layer file created from an image service
Description
If you create a layer (.lyr) file from an image service in ArcMap, and add it to the map, ArcMap crashes.
Cause
This is a known issue.
Solution or Workaround
This issue has been address in ArcGIS Version 8.1.2.Article ID:000003958
