ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud 'Complimentary' Deprecation

Last Published: September 23, 2022

Description

The ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud complimentary (free) access will be removed in January 2023. The functionality in the complimentary version is available via ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Plus or an ArcGIS subscription. It also includes key features such as:

  • Ability to use map designs commercially
  • Access to additional vector maps
  • Ability to create high resolution maps and graphics greater than 96 DPI
  • Use ArcGIS’ analysis capabilities to create accurate distance-based features

Deprecation will follow the below timeline.

  • October 2022 – The product will no longer allow new users to sign up as complimentary users. Existing users can continue using complimentary access until January 2023.
  • January 2023 – All complimentary users lose their access.

This does not impact customers using ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Plus or ArcGIS Online and Enterprise organization-level access.

Recommendation

Starting in October 2022, if using complimentary access, one can use the account button or the info popup to sign up for a 21-day trial, or purchase a subscription. Organizations that use other Esri products, such as ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise, should consider provisioning existing licenses or amending subscriptions to add more users. ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud is available at no additional cost to ArcGIS users. Check out the product functionality matrix for more details on the features and licensing levels.
