ArcGIS Geocoding Service Match-Narrative JSON Object

Description

In previous updates of the ArcGIS Geocoding service, the information about match narrative was returned in the service response as a standalone JSON object. To standardize the presentation of match information details in service output across all geocoding operations, the JSON object has been replaced by the MatchNarrative output field.

Recommendation

Esri recommends that customers use the MatchNarrative output field to see the match narrative codes. Customers that have built custom applications to display match narrative information will need to update their code to reference the MatchNarrative output field instead of the match-narrative JSON object.
