PROBLEM

After saving edits to a shapefile or dBASE file, the table window shows that it still has indexes

Description

When saving edits on a shapefile or a dBASE file, existing attribute indexes are deleted automatically. However,the fields in the table window are still marked as indexed.

Cause

The table window is not refreshing correctly.

Solution or Workaround



Remove and replace the data in ArcMap.
