Description

After logging into ArcGIS Server Manager, the ArcGIS Server Manager main page is not fully displayed. Instead, the page is cut off and the buttons do not function.

Cause

This problem is caused by the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration (IE ESC) available on Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista.

Solution or Workaround

Add the ArcGIS Server Manager URL to the Trusted sites list in Internet Explorer and/or Local intranet sites list, if the server is on a local intranet.

In Internet Explorer 7 or 8, go to Tools > Internet Options > Security tab > select Local Intranet or Trusted sites > Sites.
The URL, https://<your server name>, should be automatically populated under ‘Add this website to the zone’. If not, manually type the URL and click ‘Add’. After clicking 'Add', close all the dialog box windows.
Refresh the Web page.
