Error Message

When executing the Calibrate Routes tool in ArcGIS Pro, the following error is encountered:

Error 000443: Problems were encountered; <value> contains the full description of the issues.

Additionally, the output file path displays the following message:

The measure value is outside of the output M domain.

Cause

The issue can be traced to a mismatch between the M Domain values of the route geometry and the measure values being applied during calibration. Specifically:

  • The original route had an Output M Domain that did not accommodate the measure values used in the calibration process.
  • Running Check Geometry on the original route revealed no structural issues.

Solution or Workaround

Adjust the Output M Domain settings in the Calibrate Routes tool:

  • Set the Minimum M value to -1 (instead of the default 0).
    • Optionally, keep the Maximum M value unchanged.
