In remote sensing and photogrammetry, a nonphysical sensor model with a ground-to-image transformation, adjustable parameters, and covariance terms. Computationally equivalent to their physical counterparts, these models mask the physical design of the sensor and provide a mechanism to build a multisensory bundle adjustment.
