An abbreviation of International Celestial Reference System. A methodology and set of models for creating an abstract celestial coordinate system, defined and maintained by the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service (IERS). ICRS conventions include a celestial reference system with an origin at the center of mass of a solar system, calculated without rotation.
