Equal Earth projection

An equal-area, pseudo-cylindrical map projection that retains the relative size of areas, with straight parallels and evenly spaced meridians. It is similar to the Robinson projection, but retains proportions and relative dimensions. The Equal Earth projection was invented in 2018 by cartographers Bojan Šavrič, Bernhard Jenny, and Tom Patterson.
