Additional Information

From the blog post - https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/administration/support-for-windows-7-and-windows-server-2008-is-ending-what-does-that-mean/: On January 14, 2020, Microsoft is ending support for their Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2 operating systems. After January 14, 2020, Esri software no longer supports Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008 R2. If users are still using Esri software on these operating systems, we highly recommend an upgrade to Windows 10 or a newer version of Windows Server, such as Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2019, before January 2020. If users want to stay on these older operating systems after January 14, 2020, they can continue using Esri software, but it will not be supported. Esri will not be able to address defects related to no longer supported Microsoft operating systems. These changes are published in the Deprecated Features – Year-End 2018 document on the Esri Support site.

Workaround

Change the remote in settings and choose the highest quality 32-bit color depth to remote in.
