Bug
While creating a feature using the road centerline data, the default subtype values do not populate automatically, causing an error to be returned when manually creating a new line feature in ArcGIS Pro.

This is a data modeling issue. Software is behaving as expected. The subtypes use numeric codes and the domain uses strings, for example, Alley is subtype 11 but the domain has the code as Alley. The domain needs to be updated to have numeric codes to match the subtype codes.Workaround
Use ArcMap to edit the data and create new features.
