When working with multiple data frames with copied layers, edits made from the Attributes window are not reflected in the non-active data frame legend when the 'Only show classes that are visible in the current map extent' option is selected.

Additional Information

The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.6. ArcGIS Pro legends belonging to both map frames are automatically updated correctly after applying an edit in the Attributes pane or saving an edit made in the Table View.

Workaround

  1. Open the Legend Properties dialog box.
  2. Uncheck and recheck the Only show classes that are visible in the current map extent option.
  3. Click Apply or OK to update the legend contents.
