When using the Nearby ArcGIS Instant Apps application with a cover page enabled and if the Distance Measure measurement is enabled as well, clicking on the Distance Measurement causes the application to break.

This is no longer reproducible in the current version of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Instant Apps. If the issue is still occurring, please contact Esri Support.

Workaround

Disable the cover page and republish the Nearby ArcGIS Instant Apps application. The Distance measurement can then be used.
