When using the Maplex Label Engine, labels appear misplaced while zoomed out when there is a reference scale set on the data frame and the 'Stack label' option for the feature class is checked.

Additional Information

Cannot reproduce the issue at latest release.

Workaround

Clear the reference scale. Or 1. Right-click the layer > Properties > Labels tab > Placement Properties. 2. Click the Fitting Strategy tab, and uncheck the 'Stack Label' option.
