Workaround

Set the License Manager through the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ESRI\License10.1 >LICENSE_SERVER value to the IP address.Workaround 2:Add the IP address of the License Manager to the hosts file under <a href="file:C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc" target="_blank">C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc</a><ip address> server_name# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.# 127.0.0.1 localhost# ::1 localhost 10.10.10.100 PETERThen use the name " Peter" for the license server even if this is not the License Manager hostname.
